About this Office
The National Alliance of Postal and Federal Employees' Legislative Division (NAPFELD) is the advocacy and resource arm of NAPFE. NAPFELD monitors and educates NAPFE membership about legislation and federal policy that affect their interests. Additionally, given the history of the union and the interests of NAPFE membership, NAPFELD monitors and educates our membership on civil and human rights issues. NAPFELD is also responsible for organizing the biennial legislative seminar.
The Legislative department develops and implements the union's legislative and policy agenda. Additionally, she manages the union's outreach efforts in the union's monthly magazine, the NAPFELD newsletter and NAPFE's press releases.
NAPFE Members are encouraged to contact the NAPFELD office for information on legislation and policy and for assistance in their outreach efforts.
